Duties include processing accounts payables and receivables, and payroll; financial statement preparation, general ledger maintenance, and subsidiary ledger maintenance and reconciliation; preparing and delivering bank deposits and handling correspondence. This motivated individual will be detail-oriented, well-organized, professional and able to multi-task with ease and must be a caring team player with a sense of humor. The ideal candidate for this position will have an administrative background with some experience in basic accounting practices. Duties will include reconciliation of bank deposits, recording all event in-kind donations, Accounts Receivable/Payable responsibilities, reconciliation of general ledger and other administrative accounting duties as needed. This motivated individual will be detail-oriented, well-organized, professional and able to multi-task with ease and must be a caring team player with a sense of humor. Excellent computer and organizational skills required. Recent graduates with little experience, but a degree in Accounting are eligible to apply if they have a strong desire to work in the non profit sector. Salary commensurate with qualifications.
